About

Rusteau-1D simulates one-dimensional water flow, heat transport and solute transport in variably saturated soils. It is a port of the numerical engine of HYDRUS-1D to Rust, with a desktop interface for Windows, macOS and Linux and a command line program. Rusteau-1D opens and saves HYDRUS-1D projects, and its results are checked against HYDRUS 4.17 on all examples of the HYDRUS-1D distribution. Beyond HYDRUS-1D it offers a figure editor for publication figures, the comparison of runs and a help that explains every input and the theory behind it, with its references. It is free software under the GNU General Public License; nothing needs to be installed.
